Acknowledged alerts on Overview

With the release of Alert Acknowledgment, we have also updated the Overview page.

The Overview page will now display a count of acknowledged alerts that are still open.  The acknowledgement icon looks like the following:

The count of Acknowledged alerts are distinct from the number of other alerts, meaning if you see (30) Open Alerts -- (10) System disconnect, (10) Fault, and (10) Acknowledged alerts, there are a total of (30) open alerts. Of the (30) open alerts, (10) alerts are acknowledged and the other (20) are not acknowledged.  By showing the acknowledged alerts on the Overview page, it allows you to focus on those sites with open issues that have not yet been addressed, while maintaining visibility on sites with identified issues that remain in an Open state.

Note: There can be up to a 5 minute delay for acknowledged or unacknowledged alerts to update on the Overview page.

Acknowledged alerts on Latest Data

We have also updated the Latest Data page.  In the same way as the Overview page, the Latest Data page will now display a count of acknowledged alerts that are still open.

The count of Acknowledged alerts are distinct from the number of other alerts, meaning if you see (3) Open Alerts -- (1) System disconnect, (1) Fault, and (1) Acknowledged alert, there are a total of (3) open alerts. Of the (3) open alerts, (1) alert is acknowledged and the other (2) are not acknowledged.  By showing the acknowledged alerts on the Latest Data page, it allows you to focus on those sites/components with open issues that have not yet been addressed, while maintaining visibility on sites/components with identified and acknowledged issues that remain in an Open state.

Acknowledged alerts in Charting

The Charting interface will also allow users to display alerts.  When clicking on an alert in the Chart, the popup will indicate whether the Alert is acknowledged or not.
